Broiled Salted Salmon

Quick and Tasty Salty Salmon!



Here is a amazingly easy, but super tasty salmon recipe that will knock your socks off! The salt rest on the salmon really takes the flavor to the next level. Make sure you let the salmon rest in the Sake.

Broiled Salted Salmon


  • 1 large Salmon Fillet
  • 2 tbl Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sake

Get out your salmon and wash it off. Cut it into 4 equal fillets and make sure the scales have been removed. Check for any pin bones! These little buggers will not make you happy. Get yourself some tweezers and it will be easy to get them all out. Sprinkle salt all over the top of the salmon and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.


Take your salmon out of the fridge and wash all the salt from it. Preheat your broiler in your oven. Get out a sheet pan and spray it down with non stick spray. If you forget this part, your salmon will stick for sure! Before adding your salmon to the oven, combine the Sake and one tablespoon of salt to a bowl and mix well. Toss the salmon in the mixture for about 30 seconds. This will take away the fishiness of the salmon and give it an excellent flavor! Cook the salmon in the oven for about 8 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
