1 Large eggs Lightly beaten
2 tbp Vegetable Oil
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup Ketchup

If you are tired of the same old hamburger, try out this amazing Asian style recipe. Made with ground beef, teriyaki sauce, and panko breadcrumbs, this recipe is unbelievably good!

Teriyaki Infused Sirloin Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tbp Butter
  • 1 tsp Salt and Pepper
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Large egg
  • 2 tbp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce

Gather together your ingredients and place your panko breadcrumbs in a small bowl. Pour in the milk and stir it up and set it aside for the breadcrumbs to soak up the milk. While your breadcrumbs are soaking get out a medium sauce pan and cook the onions with the butter on medium until they are translucent. Set aside.

Get out a large bowl and add the beef, salt and pepper, nutmeg, onions, and milk soaked breadcrumbs. Mix together well until fully combined. Add the beaten egg and mix again to combine.

Mix up the Teriyaki sauce, ketchup, and Dijon mustard in a bowl to get it ready and set aside. Make 4 equal sized hamburgers. Heat the vegetable oil in the pan you used to cook the onions until the oil is shimmering. Add the hamburgers to the pan and cook each side until browned, about 3 minutes per side.

Add in the Teriyaki sauce mixture to the pan and cook the burgers in the sauce, flipping them over now and then. Cook until all sides are nice and brown and the sauce is starting to caramelize. It should take about 5 minutes or so.

Pull out your burgers and place nicely on a plate. Enjoy with some nice hot sake!
